TORONTO – The Toronto Argonauts Football Club is pleased to announce that international WR Mike Davis has signed on with the club.
Davis is a speedy receiver who played four seasons at the University of Texas at Austin. His best season, statistically, was as a junior (2012) when he caught 57 passes for 939 yards and 7 touchdowns in 13 games. His career receiving totals for the Longhorns include 200 catches for 2,753 yards and 18 touchdowns in 49 games played. A football ironman during his time at Texas, Davis played in 36 straight games over four years and was named an All-Big 12 performer three times and earned 2013 Second-Team All-Big 12 honours as a senior. Davis attended training camp with the Oakland Raiders in 2014.
