TORONTO – The Toronto Argonauts are pleased to announce the signing of international offensive lineman Chris Faulk.
Faulk spent four years at Louisiana State University (LSU), playing at both left and right tackle. After redshirting in 2009, Faulk appeared in 11 games with two starts at right tackle as a freshman in 2010, recording 26 knockdowns. He earned the starting role at left tackle in training camp during his sophomore season in 2011, and played in all 14 games with 13 starts, ranking third on the team with 73.5 knockdowns.
Faulk helped the Tigers to a 13-0 regular season record in 2011 and played every offensive snap in five games, including the BCS National Championship against Alabama. He was named to the AP Second-Team in the All-Southeastern Conference and SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week against Tennessee.
Faulk was most recently a member of the Cleveland Browns of the NFL after signing as an undrafted free agent.
