TORONTO – The Toronto Argonauts announced today that the club has signed international receiver Kierrie Johnson.
Johnson, a 5-10, 175-pound, native of Houston, Texas, arrives in Toronto after stints with the BC Lions, Saskatchewan Roughriders and most recently the Ottawa REDBLACKS. Last season, he caught 17 passes for 214 yards in four games with the REDBLACKS.
In 19 career CFL games, the University of Houston alum has recorded 54 receptions for 747 yards and one touchdown while adding 14 carries for 76 yards.
During his time at Houston, he hauled in 85 passes for 1,308 yards and 12 touchdowns and had 12 kick returns for 158 yards with the Cougars.
