Toronto – On Saturday, June 6 the Toronto Argonauts will be bringing the team and their fans to the Oshawa Civic Recreational Complex in Oshawa, Ontario for their annual Fan Day, presented by the Toronto Sun, and Double Blue Game!
Argos Fan Day starts at 11:00 a.m. ET at the home of the storied Oshawa Hawkeyes Football Club who have enjoyed a long association with the Argonauts. The day will offer fans and families a free, entertaining and interactive opportunity to meet their favourite Argos players, coaches, alumni and the Argos Cheerleaders, presented by the Toronto Sun, before the season begins. Stay to watch the annual Double Blue Game, take part in exciting activities, interact with other Argonauts fans, and much more! Argos merchandise and game-worn jerseys will be available for purchase, as well as a special ticket deal.
The Double Blue Game will feature players participating in a scrimmage with the offence going up against the defence. Fans will be encouraged to cheer for each unit and coaches will have plays ready for every scenario to keep up with the fast pace of the game.
Tickets are now available for the Argos’ home pre-season game on Tuesday, June 9 at historic Varsity Stadium against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Toronto’s first regular season game in Toronto will be Saturday, August 8 against the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Tickets for all Argos home games in Toronto can be purchased through ticketmaster.ca or by visiting argonauts.ca.
The Argos’ regular season opener, called Northern Kickoff, is scheduled for Saturday, June 27 in Fort McMurray, Alberta against the Edmonton Eskimos. Tickets can be purchased through onerecreation.ca.
