Training Camp Diary: Day 17

Despite some early morning showers, the skies were clear by the time the Argonauts took the field for the final practice of their 2015 training camp. There was a palpable excitement in the air as players and coaches continued their preparation for the second pre-season game in Montreal: the final roadblock before the start of the 2015 CFL regular season.

QB Ricky Ray was officially added to the six-game injured list Tuesday morning, and so starting QB Trevor Harris saw most of the action behind centre with the first team offence. The fourth-year Argo should see a little more action on Thursday as well, as he prepares for just his second career CFL start in Fort McMurray.

Following the session, LS Jake Reinhart and SB Andre Durie returned to the practice field with the crew at Whistle Sports to film some trick shot videos as a part of their partnership with the CFL. Be sure to tune into Thursday Night Football on TSN this season to catch footage from teams across the league.

The Argos will do a team walkthrough bright and early tomorrow morning before boarding an 11:30 train to Montreal ahead of their Thursday night matchup.
