The
Argos are have entered the most crucial part of their 2008 regular season schedule,
heading into their second of six consecutive games against East Division
opponents. After kicking it off with a win last week at home versus the
Winnipeg Blue Bombers, the Double Blue enter enemy territory Thursday night as
they take on the Hamilton Tiger-Cats at Ivor Wynne.

The
Argos will be looking to re-establish themselves as the dominant team in this
rialvry in recent memory having lost the Tabbies earlier this year 32-13 at
Rogers Centre. Heading into Thursday’s battle, the Argos are an
impressive 22-6-2 versus the ‘Cats (including pre-season) since 2002 and will
have to come up with a win to avoid losing their first season series with
Hamilton since 2002.

The
Argos will make a few lineup adjustments with LB Andre Maddox returning
from the injured list to replace rookie WR James Robinson who will sit
out the game with a foot injury. Perhaps the most unconventional roster
move will occur when QB Reggie McNeal dresses for his first game of the
year, but as a wide receiver.

The
only other change will occur in the linebacking corps as LB Kevin Eiben will dress after missing two weeks with an injury.

The
‘Cats offence will counter with QB Richie Williams, who will make his second
consecutive start in place of the injured Casey Printers, and likely Tre Smith and
Terry Caulley will be in the backfield as Jesse Lumsden will sit out with a leg
injury.

Kickoff
is at 7:00 p.m. at Ivor Wynne and can be seen on TSN or heard on the FAN590.com
and SIRIUS. Following the game, the Argos will prepare for another East
Division matchup with the Montreal Alouettes at Rogers Centre on August 15th.
