ALL-PURPOSE YARDS – WR Chad Owens |
It was yet another highlight performance in a season that has been filled with big plays for Argos receiver and return man Chad Owens. The speedster became the first Argos receiver to catch for over 100 yards this season and 63 of his 163 receiving yards came on a thrilling catch and run which he turned into a touchdown. He would add another 40-yard score in the fourth quarter and would finish the day with 291 all-purpose yards. |

QUARTERBACK SACKS – DT Kevin Huntley
|
The Argos largest presence along the defensive line was arguably the club’s biggest asset on the ‘D’ Saturday night. He received the defensive game ball following the contest from his teammates and rightfully so. Kevin Huntley helped put pressure on Anthony Calvillo all night and recorded his fourth sack of the season while doing so. Huntley was also a key contributor stopping Avon Cobourne and the Als rushing attack, racking up five defensive tackles.

SPECIAL TEAMS TACKLES – RB Bryan Crawford
|
The Argos special teams captain makes his first appearance on The Stats Sheet after one of the most complete games of his career. Bryan Crawford seemed to be all over the field both as a blocker and also in pursuit on kickoff and punt return coverage. The six-year veteran racked up three special teams tackles but perhaps his biggest contribution came in the second quarter when the Argos called for a fake punt which saw Crawford step in front of Chad Rempel‘s snap and spring loose for a 40-yard dash down the sidelines for a first down.
