Video: A Rivalry Renewed

ARGONAUTS.CA

With Labour Day bragging rights as the exception, one can argue that the Argos and Ticats rivalry has not been what it traditionally is in recent years given the fact that both teams have struggled mightily at different times over the last number of years.  In fact, it has been six years since both teams contended for the playoffs in the same season.

This year is a different story however, with the Argos sitting in a tie atop the East Division standings and with Hamilton coming off a turnaround 2009 campaign and more recently, two big wins over Winnipeg, this Friday’s matchup between the two clubs could arguably be the biggest since the two met in the 2004 East Semi-Final.

ArgosTV caught up with a few Argos that have seen the rivalry evolve and some that are entering their first version of football’s Battle of Ontario.
