ALL-PURPOSE YARDS – WR Chad Owens |
Chad Owens once again put in another stellar performance this week, racking up 218 combined yards but none more important than the 80 which he accumulated up on a punt return touchdown early in the third quarter. Sunday’s game put him at 1,992 all-purpose yards for the season, 570 yards more than the CFL’s next best total held by Calgary’s Deon Murphy.

DEFENSIVE TACKLES – DE Ronald Flemons
|
Defensive end Ronald Flemons continues to pick up his level of play, combining for 16 defensive tackles and four quarterback sacks in the last two games. This week against the Bombers he recorded a team-leading nine defensive tackles and was also able to bring down QB Steven Jyles for a sack. In addition, Flemons also recorded one knockdown and recovered a fumble.

FIELD GOAL KICKING (LONG) – K Justin Medlock
|
It didn’t take long for K Justin Medlock to get back into the swing of things with the Boatmen. On his first attempt since returning to the club earlier in the week, Medlock nailed a 50-yard field goal and made it look effortless while doing so. The kick put him fourth in the CFL for longest field goal made this season.
