Pile: ‘thank You Moncton!’

ARGONAUTS.CA STAFF

MONCTON — With game day finally here, Atlantic Canada showed us supreme favour by blessing us with wonderful weather.

After a tight game with turnovers and missed opportunities plaguing both teams, Edmonton pulled away in the fourth quarter to send us to our 6th defeat of the 2010 campaign.

While still tied for second place in the East Division, we Argos realize we have a long way to go to play to the level our total talent would indicate.

The things that I’ll remember from our trip to Moncton include the hospitality the Delta Hotel and the Old Triangle Pub showed us and our fans. I’ll remember visiting the schools and sharing an encouraging message with the youth. I’ll remember the minor football players joining us at practice and showing them what it takes to be a pro football player. I’ll remember the overall courteous demeanour of the people of Moncton & obviously, the game day experience, where for one week, we were known as the Moncton Argonauts.

Thank you CFL and Moncton for organizing a great week that many of us will never forget! Allow me to sign off from my week of blogs with my favourite tag line…This is “The Year of ’10!”
