2010 Argos Cheerleader
Cowboys and angels and sailors oh my! Our last home game this past Friday was filled with excitement, reflection and Halloween flare. The cheerleaders dressed up in a variety of costumes in anticipation of Halloween.
This game was our last opportunity for the 2010 season to dance on home field together as one; it was emotional yet an absolutely awesome way to finish up the year. One of the cheerleaders, Lauren L., opened the game singing by the national anthem leaving goose bumps on the arms of everyone in the stadium.
Our three dances on field were choreographed to scary music that highlighted the Halloween theme. Jason, our mascot, was involved in the Halloween fun as he did a great job dancing the Monster Mash with us on the field. Some of the cheerleaders were also dancing closer to the fans this game as they raised excitement and Halloween spirit in the stands.
The “See You on the Field” autograph session was back this game as the Argonauts wanted to show their appreciation for our fans continued support over the years and especially for the 2010 season. Our Double Blue has secured a playoff spot this year and everyone couldn’t be more proud. We wish our team all the best in their upcoming games and will be there in spirit to cheer them on. Good luck in Montreal this weekend! GO ARGOS GO!
