TORONTO — Members of the Toronto Argonauts were on hand last Saturday as the Toronto Roller Derby hosted a re-match between two of the best women’s roller derby units in the city.
Argos LB Tristan Black, WR Mike Bradwell, OL Joe Eppele, LB Ejiro Kuale and OL Chris Van Zeyl were invited to blow the opening whistle on a match between the Gore Gore Rollergirls and Chicks Ahoy. The guys quickly noticed however, there are a lot of similarities that one can draw from the combatants of the gridiron and the competitors of the roller rink.
