TORONTO – The month of October in the CFL is Women’s Cancers Awareness month and teams across the CFL will be helping raise awareness through the #CFLPink initiative.
On Saturday, October 18, 2014, your Toronto Argonauts will be commemorating this event by
donning pink equipment to help increase awareness of women’s cancers and how we can help.
To help remember and honour those that have been affected by women’s cancers, the Argonauts are once again running a “Ribbon of Strength” campaign.
Send us the name of someone you wish to honour that has been affected by women’s cancer, and their name will appear on the video board during halftime of the Toronto Argonauts’ PINK Game on October 18.
You can send us their name via Twitter (@TorontoArgos) using the hashtag #ArgosPink or through a direct message (DM) on Twitter if you wish to have your submission remain private until the video board. You can also send it in via our Facebook page on our Ribbon of Strength post.
Submissions will be due Wednesday, October 15 at 12:00pm.
