TORONTO – The Toronto Argonauts Football Club is pleased to announce that International LB Nick Rosamonda and International QB Logan Kilgore have extended their contracts with the team through the 2016 season.
In his first season with the Argos, Rosamonda played in eight (8) games, totalling seventeen (17) defensive tackles and four (4) quarterback sacks. He signed with the club in week seven (7) and made an immediate impact, playing in week eight (8) against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Following his acquisition, he became a valuable asset on special teams, where he recorded nine (9) special teams tackles, including a potential game-saving special teams tackle against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in week sixteen.
Kilgore joined the club as a free agent on September 6 after spending training camp with the New Orleans Saints of the NFL. Kilgore remained on the Argos’ practice roster for the 2014 season before being activated and dressing in week 20 against the Ottawa REDBLACKS as the team’s third-string quarterback.
The Toronto Argonauts also announced that International DB David Sims and International DL Ridge Wilson have both signed as free agents.
