Toronto – The Toronto Argonauts Football Club is pleased to announce that international LB Matt Ware, who was scheduled to become a free agent in February, has extended his contract with the team.
Commented Argonauts General Manager, Jim Barker, “Matt is a tough, physical veteran player with tremendous professional football experience. He was new to the CFL game when he joined us before the 2014 season but our coaches followed his progress closely and found that his skillset was a good fit at the SAM linebacker position. Matt made the move late in the year and he excelled. We are excited to see his progress continue into this year’s training camp.”
