Commented Argonauts General Manager, Jim Barker, “Jarriel brings a good combination of size and athleticism to our offensive line, and he has shown his versatility by starting games at Guard and Tackle. We look forward to watching him continue to develop with us in Toronto.”

King joined the Argonauts before the 2013 season and started in 13 games at right tackle as a CFL rookie. He played in 11 games, with 9 starts, primarily at right guard in his second season with the team in 2014. The former South Carolina Gamecock has also been a member of the New York Giants and Seattle Seahawks of the NFL.

Commented Jarriel King, “Toronto is where I want to be. I’m very comfortable with the coaches and I look forward to seeing the guys in the locker room every day. I believe we have a team that is capable of challenging for a Grey Cup championship and I want to be a part of that.”
