Argonauts add CFL veteran Justin Palardy to practice roster

TORONTO – The Toronto Argonauts announced today that the team has added national kicker/ punter Justin Palardy to the practice roster. 

Palardy, a 5-10, 200-pound native of Truro, Nova Scotia, most recently spent time with the Ottawa REDBLACKS and Saskatchewan Roughriders last season. The five-year CFL veteran has connected on 114 of 139 field goal attempts (82%) with a long of 51 yards. He’s also punted 27 times for 1,138 yards, an average of 42.1 yards per punt. 

He was originally selected by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the fifth round (36th overall) of the 2010 CFL Draft after spending four season’s at Saint Mary’s University. The three time AUS All-Star finished his CIS career as the AUS and SMU career leader in points (320), field goals (65), converts (116) and field goals in a single-season (23).
