The Toronto Argonauts announced today that the team has re-signed international defensive back Isaiah Green.
Green returns to Toronto in 2016 for his third season with the Argonauts. The 5-10, 180-pound native of Los Angeles, California has appeared in nine regular season games over two seasons, registering three defensive tackles, seven special teams tackles and a sack with the Double Blue.
Following his collegiate career at Fresno State, Green went on to spend parts of three seasons in the NFL with the Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Argonauts also announced that the club has released national linebacker Akeem Whonder.
