The Toronto Argonauts have add international defensive back Quinton Pointer to the club’s practice roster.
Pointer, a 5-10, 190-pound, native of Fort Myers, Florida, arrives in Toronto after previously spending time with the NFL’s St. Louis Rams, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and most recently the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. In seven games with Hamilton this season, he registered 16 defensive tackles and two sacks.
The UNLV product finished his NCAA career with 226 tackles, nine tackles for a loss, six interceptions and two forced fumbles with the Rebels.
