VENABLE RETIRES FROM FOOTBALL
Toronto Argonaut linebacker Winston Venable has informed the club that he is retiring from football effective immediately. Venable was signed as a free agent on February 14, 2017, after playing four years with the Montreal Alouettes.

Scott, a 5-11, 194-pound, native of Corona, California, played four seasons at Oregon State where he registered 72 tackles (44 solo, 31 unassisted), four tackles for a loss, one forced fumble, one interception and 15 pass breakups with the Beavers. He spent training camp with the San Diego Chargers in 2016.
Scott will join the team for the first time this morning for practice at the Ontario Soccer Centre at 10:55 a.m.
