Week 7 – Who’s in, Who’s out

Add three offensive starters to the list of injured Argos.

James Wilder Jr. has been added to the one-game injured list. He’ll be replaced as the starting running back by Brandon Burks. Chris Rainey will also be in the mix, while Regis Cibasu will be the fullback.

Armanti Edwards has also been added to the one-game injured list and will be replaced by Chandler Worthy, who looked extremely impressive in training camp. The other starters will be Derel Walker, S.J. Green, Rodney Smith and Jimmy Ralph. Llevi Noel should also see playing time, while Alex Charette and Kimi Linnainmaa will also dress.

Roubbens Joseph will make his first CFL start at left tackle, with Isiah Cage added to the one-game injured list. The rest of the o-line will see Will Campbell at the right tackle spot, Sean McEwen at centre, with Ryan Bomben and Tyler Holmes at guard. For Holmes, it’s his 100th CFL game. Jamal Campbell will be the backup.

The defensive line looks the same with Freddie Bishop III and Frank Beltre starting at end, with Cleyon Laing and Ken Bishop at tackle. Linden Gaydosh is in the rotation at tackle, while the other ends will be Tobi Antigha, Shawn Lemon and rookie Robbie Smith.

With Ian Wild still out of the lineup, Micah Awe will remain outside as the weak-side linebacker, with Justin Herdman-Reed starting in the middle. Qudarius Ford will be the strong-side backer. Eric Striker is off the practice squad and will make his first appearance of the season on Thursday. Other reserve linebackers will be Nelkas Kwemo, Nakas Onyeka, Sean Harrington and Kennan Gilchrist.

The defensive backfield lines up with Matt Webster at safety, Abdul Kanneh and Kevin Fogg at halfback, with Matt Boateng and Alden Darby Jr. at corner. Darby has interceptions in each of the last two games. Robert Woodson and Anthony Covington will also dress.

Tyler Crapigna is the placekicker, Zack Medeiros the punter and Joe Spaziani the long-snapper.
