There was one second remaining on the clock with the season on the line for the Argos. In danger of falling to a 1-6 record, the Argos were down 41-36 and a miracle was needed to prevail. It was Week 7 of the 2018 season. The Grey Cup Champion Toronto Argonauts hosted the Ottawa RedBlacks in a battle of the previous two Grey Cup Champions. Toronto held a 1-5 record with its back to the wall. Trailing by 21 points at halftime, then 24 in the third quarter, the Argos depended on a relatively unfamiliar player to lead the Boatmen.
