DB Raymond Lamb lll

– The Toronto Argonauts Football Club has added some European flavour
to its roster by signing German-born defenders DB Raymond Lamb lll and DT Michael Quarshie.
Born
in Frankfurt, Germany, Lamb is well-travelled, graduating from Seoul
High School in South Korea in 2001. In 2002, he moved to New Mexico,
where he attended a military institute and played football before
joining Temple. A standout at the University of Temple, Lamb spent
three seasons (2003-2005) playing for the Owls after transferring from
New Mexico Military Institute. During his time, he recorded 128
defensive tackles (74 solo) and 10 pass knockdowns in 29 games.
Also
a native of Germany, Michael Quarshie was born in Erlangen and later
moved to Ghana before settling in Finland with his family. A two-year
member of the Oakland Raiders of the NFL (2005-2006), Quarshie has also
spent time in Europe playing with the Frankfurt Galaxy (NFLE) as well
as the Porvoo Butchers (EFL) and Helsinki Roosters (SAJL) of Finland.
He was also a member of the Finnish Men’s National Football Team.
Prior to joining the Raiders, Quarshie was a two-time All-Ivy League
selection at Columbia University in 2003 and 2004.
