Toronto – The day
before single-game tickets go on-sale, the Toronto Argonauts are giving
fans the opportunity to get their tickets to the home opener on July 3
at a one-day sale, featuring the ultimate in convenience and
interactivity. On Thursday, May 15, exactly six weeks before the July 3
home opener, Double Blue fans are invited to the first-ever Toronto Argonauts Drive-Through.
For one-day only, all fans have to do is drive into the Bremner Street
parking lot, just south of Rogers Centre, to purchase discounted
tickets directly from a Toronto Argonauts players.
As fans drive through the parking lot, they will be greeted by Argos players including Andre Talbot, Noel Prefontaine, Leron Mitchell, Jeff Johnson, Andre Durie, Brian Ramsay, and Wayne Shaw.
After securing their home opener tickets, ticket purchasers will
receive a complimentary Toronto Star newspaper and cup of Tim Hortons
coffee from the Argos Cheerleaders. Also on-site will be Jason the
Argos mascot, inflatables, prizes and ticket information tents. In
addition, THE FAN 590
will be live at the event for the morning show. THE FAN 590 will also
have a booth on-site as they prepare to broadcast all the Argos games
for the second straight season.
At the Argonauts
Drive-Through, ticket discounts will range from 40%-50% for the home
opener. Special one-day prices are $30 for one ticket and $100 for 4
tickets in a special 100 level section. This gives Argos supporters and
THE FAN 590 listeners the chance to get the best seats for the home
opener the day before single-game tickets go on-sale to the public.
Single-game tickets for all Argos home games go on-sale on Friday, May 16. Tickets will be available at Ticketmaster.
