Nothing says football like a good, old-fashioned pep rally and that’s
exactly what the Argonauts are throwing this Wednesday, June 25. To
kick-off the 2008 season with a bang, the Argos are throwing a party in the
heart of downtown Toronto so fans can get their first glimpse of the 2008
squad.
The entire Toronto Argonauts team will be officially introduced, accompanied by grassroots
football players. Staged at Yonge-Dundas Square,
the Argos Pep Rally will feature a festival atmosphere with interactive games, Argos Cheerleaders appearances and
performances, special performances by the Argos
house band the Argonotes, player
interviews with THE FAN 590’s Mike Hogan, Double Blue Alumni appearances, food and beverages.
Take a first look at the 2008 Boatmen before they depart for
the season opener in Winnipeg
on June 27. Be sure to catch the team in action at the home opener on
July 3 at Rogers Centre.
Admission to the Argos Pep Rally is free so come by after
work or bring the family and support Toronto’s
oldest, winningest and most storied franchise. Argos Football – Pass It On!
