Dorsey Wins Fifth Special Teams Player Of The Week Award As Argo

Mississauga – He’s played in just 15 regular season games as an Argonaut and RB/KR Dominique Dorsey has now lined his trophy case with five CFL Special Teams Player of the Week awards.

Dorsey was a one-man wrecking crew last week for Toronto. ‘Mighty Mouse’ accumulated 213 return yards on 3 kickoff returns, 4 punt returns and one missed field goal return. He nearly broke two runs for touchdowns and also had 29 rushing yards on offence.

Dorsey has now won five CFL Special Teams Player of the Week awards as an Argo and eight throughout his CFL career. Last season, he became one of only two players in league history to earn a weekly award in three consecutive weeks.

Dorsey and the Argos depart for Edmonton tomorrow but return to Toronto next week to take on the Eskimos in the second game of a home-and-home series on Sunday, July 20 at 4:00 p.m. at Rogers Centre. Tickets are available by calling 416-341-2746 or visiting argonauts.ca
