Argos Sign Former Cfl Outstanding Lineman Andrew Greene

The Toronto Argonauts Football Club is pleased to announce that former CFL Outstanding Lineman Andrew Greene has signed a practice roster agreement with the club.

The 10-year CFL veteran was named CFL Outstanding Lineman in 2003 and the West Division’s Outstanding Lineman in his first full CFL season in 2000. He was named a CFL All-Star four times (2000, 2003-05) and a Division All-Star five times (2000-01, 2003-05). Born in Jamaica, Greene qualifies as a non-import and was drafted by the Saskatchewan Roughriders with the 18 ^th overall pick in the 1994 CFL Draft. Greene last played with Winnipeg in 2007 and suited up for the Grey Cup game at Rogers Centre.

After leaving the University of Indiana in 1995, Greene spent time with NFL teams in Miami, Seattle , Denver, Atlanta, New York and Jacksonville.
