Mississauga – The competition is building as the Toronto Argonauts have added a twelfth defensive lineman, eighth at defensive end, to their 2009 training camp roster. Enormous, 6-foot, 7-inch, 270 pound defensive end Kevin Huntley will bring stiff competition to what is sure to be a highly-contested position.
Huntley most recently spent time as a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2008, after beginning his professional career with the Oakland Raiders as an un-drafted free agent in 2006. He had his best season as a rookie with the Raiders, when he recorded 10 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and a fumble recovery in six games played. Prior to joining the NFL, Huntley was a standout pass rusher at Kansas State (2002-04) where, as a senior, he played in nine games, recording 31 tackles, three sacks, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.
