Training Camp Diaries – June 18

The Boatmen returned to the practice field weary and worn from their first pre-season game on Wednesday night against Montreal. Coach Andrus complimentary of his team’s effort, despite the loss, indicating that his players did a lot of things right and put forth a good effort.

Today’s practice was light in order to let the players heal their muscles. Afterall, that was the first game action for most in months.

It was encouraging to see that WR Todd Lowber, who scared his teammates and the crowd after being blind sided by a hit, was up and walking at practice. He did not participate but was on the sidelines for most of the practice. Though events of the previous night were still a little foggy, he was in good spirits.
