Mississauga – The Toronto Argonauts Football Club is pleased to announce that WR Chad Lucas has signed with the club. He joins his new teammates in time for this Saturday’s (August 1) game against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers at Rogers Centre.
As a member of Bart Andrus’ Amsterdam Admirals in 2006, Lucas led the league in receiving touchdowns (8) and was named to the All-NFL Europa team at receiver. The 27-year old played three games in the NFL, including one start at receiver, with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Green Bay Packers. Lucas has also had stops with the Tennessee Titans, San Jose SaberCats (AFL) and, most recently, the St. Louis Rams.
