MISSISSAUGA – The Toronto Argonauts Football Club is pleased to announce that 6-foot, 4-inch WR Brandon Rideau has signed a contract with the team.
The big receiver who was a pure athlete as a quarterback, receiver, basketball and track star while growing up in Texas, Rideau played four seasons at the University of Kansas. He finished his time at KU just two receptions shy of breaking the school record for catches in a career. He signed a free agent contract with the NFL’s Cleveland Browns upon graduation and went on to gain extensive experience with the Chicago Bears including being activated for two regular season games in 2008.
The Washington Redskins also announced today that K/P Justin Medlock, who was entering his option year, has signed a futures contract with the NFL club.
