After signing a contract with the Boatmen following his impressive e-camp performance this weekend, Argonauts.ca takes a closer look at some of QB  Danny Brannagan’s impressive university numbers in the latest edition of By The Numbers.

10,714 Danny became the Queen’s Gaels all-time leading passer with 10,714 career passing yards, surpassing QB Tommy Denison.

2 In 2009, Brannagan received 2 MVP honours in the playoffs, being named the Most Valuable Player in both the Vanier Cup and Yates Cup games.

2005 Passing for over 1,800 yards in his first season, Danny was named the OUA Rookie of the Year in 2005.

1992 In his final game at Queen’s, the OUA’s leading passer led his school to their first Vanier Cup championship since 1992.

24 In 2008, the Gaels pivot led the entire nation in touchdown passes by putting up a career-high 24 in 8 games.

2 Throughout his 5-year university career, Brannagan was named an OUA All-Star 2 times (1st team in 2008 and 2nd teamin 2009).

62.14 In his final year of university ball, Brannagan posted a completion percentage of 62.14 over a 7-game span.

2,590 In 2009, Danny accumulated an astounding 2,580 yards passing in 7 games.

4 Danny is one of only 4 Canadian quarterbacks to be placed on the Argos roster since 1994.
