The Toronto Argonauts Football Club is saddened to learn of the passing of former offensive lineman Morris Zubkewych. Zubkewych played two seasons with the Argos in 1974 and 1978, starting at centre in 18 regular season games.
A graduate of Simon Fraser University, Zubkewych was drafted by the Argos in the second round of the 1974 CFL Canadian Draft as a defensive tackle before making the transition to the offensive side of the trenches.
Visitation will be held from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Friday and the funeral will be held on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at the Turner Porter Funeral Home in Toronto.
