| TOTAL TACKLES – LB Kevin Eiben |
 A perennial leader among defenders in total tackles year in and year out, Kevin Eiben began the 2010 season right where he left off, recording an impressive 11 defensive tackles and 1 special teams tackle. In addition to anchoring the Argos’ linebacking corps, Eiben’s Week 1 performance placed him in the league-lead in total tackles, ahead of second-place Winnipeg Blue Bombers DB Brandon Stewart who recorded 10 defensive tackles in a win over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. |

| PASSING YARDS – QB Cleo Lemon |
 Perhaps not the start that he had hoped for but Cleo Lemon showed that, despite his struggles, he could help this team move the ball once the Argos offence gets more accustomed to playing with one another. Lemon completed just under 60% of his passes, going 16 of 28 for 192 yards, one touchdown and one interception. It’s A far cry from some of the numbers that future Hall of Famer Anthony Calvillo and budding star Darian Durrant put up this week in their 54-51 shootout, but Lemon’s ability to only turn the ball over once is a vast improvement from a year ago. In 2009, Argos quarterbacks combined for an average 2.3 interceptions thrown per game. |

| PUNT RETURN YARDS – RB/SB Chad Owens |
 Undoubtedly the star that shone brightest for the Argos in Week 1 was RB/SB Chad Owens, whose 90-yard punt return touchdown breathed new life into the Argos in the fourth quarter. Owens finished the day with a total of 167 all-purpose yards. Owens was the first Argo to return a punt for a touchdown since Dominique Dorsey did it in August of 2008 versus the Winnipeg Blue Bombers at Rogers Centre. |
