The Alouettes got on the board first when Anthony Calvillo hit SJ Green for a touchdown on the opening drive, set up by a 42 yard reception by Brian Bratton.
The Argos would march down the field on their opening drive as well but would have to settle for a Grant Shaw field goal to cut the Montreal lead to 7-3. The Alouettes would answer with a 12-yard field goal on the next drive to go up 10-3.
The Argos would continue the trend of consecutive scoring drives when Cleo Lemon capped off an 80-yard touchdown drive by hitting WR Spencer Watt in the endzone for 20 yards.
The Als would go back on top with 2:57 left in the first half on a Darhan Diedrick 2-yard plunge. The major was set up by a tip pass that went off of the hands of Jeremaine Copeland and into the hands of Montreal DB Billy Parker.
Grant shaw would pull the Argos a bit closer with a 42-yard field goal to cut the Montreal lead to 17-13. Alouettes K Sean Whyte added a field goal and the teams would go into halftime with the Als up 20-17.
The Als running game would pick up in the second half, as two runs would lead to a touchdown and stretch the lead to 27-13. Another Alouettes touchdown would follow at the start of the fourth quarter to put Montreal up 36-13.
