Throughout the year, argonauts.ca will take a look at some of the statistical leaders following each game and compare how they match up against both their teammates and the rest of the Canadian Football League.
| RUSHING YARDS – RB Cory Boyd |
 Perhaps the most telling Cory Boyd stat could be the 4-0 record his club has when he rushes for 100 yards or more. Boyd put on one of the more dominating performances seen by an Argo in recent years, generating 210 all-purpose yards and 3 touchdowns on his 25th birthday. Simply unstoppable on the ground, Boyd rushed for a new career high 164 yards including a 45-yard touchdown scamper in the first quarter. In addition to abusing defenders with his powerful downhill running, the CFL rookie also showed his versatility and athleticism, stretching out to make a touchdown snag in the second quarter that would only add to his 46 yards in the air. |

| RECEIVING YARDS – WR Brandon Rideau |

Brandon Rideau makes his first appearance of the year on The Stats Sheet following his second consecutive 70-yard plus performance of the season. After falling four yards shy of the century mark last week (4 catches for 96 yards), Rideau had another solid outing, recording 3 receptions for 78 yards. His first reception helped the Argos offence get moving from the first whistle when he was on the receiving end of a 36-yard flea-flicker which the Boatmen ran on the first play from scrimmage. The reception led to a Grant Shaw field goal three plays later. |

| PASSING YARDS – QB Cleo Lemon |
 There was no doubt that Friday night marked Cleo Lemon’s best performance as an Argo. Falling just 8 yards shy of 300, Lemon put together a solid balance of run and pass against the Eskimos, completing 23 of 34 passes for 292 and a touchdown. The real statement from Lemon came in the final minutes of the fourth quarter however, when he orchestrated a brilliant 14-play, 94-yard touchdown drive capped off by a 1-yard Boyd plunge into the endzone to win the game.

| DEFENSIVE TACKLES – Lin-J Shell |
 Second-year Argo Lin-J Shell continues to rack up tackles. The Argos’ starting halfback racked up 4 more this week in Edmonton (giving him 36 on the year) but recognition should be given to the timeliness of his plays rather than the tackles themselves. With 7 seconds remaining in the second half and with the Esks scrimmaging from the Argos 21 yardline, looking to take back some lost momentum, Edmonton QB Ricky Ray stepped back and heaved a pass into the endzone intended for WR Fred Stamps. Stamps would have put 6 more points on the board had it not been for the savvy play of Shell who came back to his man to knock the ball away just prior to it arriving in Stamps’ awaiting hands.
