MISSISSAUGA – The Toronto Argonauts Football Club is pleased to welcome 2009 West Division All-Star OT Calvin Armstrong. Armstrong has been added to the 46-man roster for tomorrow’s game vs. the B.C. Lions.
Armstrong started 44 games over parts of three seasons with the Edmonton Eskimos. He played in three playoff games, including the 2008 East Final, and was named a West All-Star last season. Armstrong, who was a four-year starter and two-time All-PAC 10 Conference selection at Washington State, was originally draft in the sixth round, 211 overall, of the 2005 NFL Draft by the Philadelphia Eagles. He held practice roster positions with the Eagles, Green Bay Packers and Washington Redskins.
