MISSISSAUGA – The Argos continued to make roster moves this morning, releasing DB Sammy Joseph, WR Chad Lucas and FB Peter Quinney.
Lucas joined the Boatmen midway through the 2009 season and caught 69 passes for 950 yards and 2 touchdowns in 14 games. This season, however, Lucas dressed in only five of the Argos’ 10 games, catching 12 passes for 151 yards.
Joseph joined the Argos in 2009 and spent the majority of the year on the club’s practice roster. He started in the club’s first three games of 2010 at DB before being placed on the IR.
Quinney dressed primarily as a special teams player in eight games this year after signing as a free agent in the off-season.

11:30 a.m. – Practice at the Oakville Soccer Club, 1520 Pine Glen Rd. (Third Line and Dundas). Practice is available for media filming from approx. 11:45 a.m. – 12:05 p.m. Players available immediately following practice (approx. 1:15 p.m.). Head Coach Jim Barker available immediately following players.
