The Toronto Argonauts announced today that DT Matthias Askew has signed a practice roster agreement with the club.
Askew played the last seven seasons in the National Football League, spending the majority of his time with the Denver Broncos and Washington Redskins and was most recently in training camp with the Detroit Lions.
A native of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the 6-foot-5 interior lineman played 35 games, starting 19, at Michigan State University from 2001-2003.
