TORONTO – After 123 hopefuls, two days of auditions and hours of deliberation, the Toronto Argonauts selected the 2011 edition of the Argos Cheerleaders presented by the Toronto Sun.
The applicants that made it through Saturday’s cutdown had one more chance to impress the judges on Sunday, this time dancing in front of their competitors and for many, their future teammates.
Legendary voice of 680 News, Rudy Blair, took part in his eighth cheer auditions as a judge and helped select the final 23 who were given a blue rose upon receiving confirmation that they had made the 2011 squad.
