The Toronto Argonauts Football Club is currently accepting resumes for the Double Blue Crew Promo Team. This team offers part-time positions in the Sales and Marketing departments during the 2011 season.
As a member of the Toronto Argonauts Game Day Staff, your major focus will be to generate excitement about the Toronto Argonauts through the coordination, execution and development of the Toronto Argonauts events. In addition, you will assist with game day duties, including activation, pre-game outdoor entertainment and additional duties as assigned. This part-time position will require approximately 3 hours per game day/night plus additional events.
Qualifications:
A strong desire to start a career in the sports industry and/or event marketing. Candidates must possess a strong commitment to the sports industry, excellent interpersonal skills, passion, a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, a demonstrated attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities:
– Assist in the execution of all Toronto Argonauts promotional and major events
– Assist with various game day duties as required
– Represent the Toronto Argonauts in a proud and professional manner
Required Knowledge/Skills/Job Qualifications:
– Strong teamwork mentality, self-motivated and responsible
– Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
– Ability to work in a high energy, fast-paced environment
– Flexible work schedule
– Effective time management skills
– Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
– Ability and willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required, including all Argonauts home games
– Knowledge of and experience with promotions and special events
– Must be a minimum of 19 years of age
– Must possess a valid driver’s license
