TORONTO – The Toronto Argonauts Football Club is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of former fullback Warren Hudson who died Thursday after a courageous battle with Anaplastic Astrocytoma, which is a type of brain tumour. He was 49 and survived by his wife, Kelly.
A product of the Oshawa Hawkeyes football program, Hudson played six of his nine CFL seasons with Toronto, three in Winnipeg and played in 144 CFL games. A Grey Cup Champion and the game’s Most Valuable Canadian in 1990 with the Blue Bombers, Hudson recorded 296 career carries for 1,507 yards and 204 receptions for 1,951 yards. He finished his CFL tenure with 23 touchdowns and was a West Division all-star two times (1992, 1993).
