TORONTO – Please join us at David Pecaut Square, 55 John St. (at King St. W) on Wednesday, August 8 beginning at 7:00 AM for a full day of events and activities to celebrate the 100 Day Countdown to the 100th Grey Cup Festival. In partnership with the Toronto Entertainment District BIA and the Ritz-Carlton Toronto, the day will start with Yoga in the Park, paired with a Pancake Breakfast served up by some notable celebrities. It then continues with Pick-Up Football Games and Clinics with professional football players, the official Kick Off event with Honourable David C. Onley, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario and Honorary Chair of the 100th Grey Cup Festival, lunch service by Marc Angelo Foods, Argos Players and Cheerleaders, live activations, 100th Grey Cup Festival swag and more!

INTERVIEWS AND PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE WITH CHRIS RUDGE, CHAIRMAN AND CEO OF THE 100TH GREY CUP FESTIVAL, LOU RAGAGNIN, COO AND PRESIDENT OF THE 100TH GREY CUP FESTIVAL, JANICE SOLOMON, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR ENTERTAINMENT DISTRICT BIA, ARGOS CURRENT AND ALUMNI PLAYERS, ARGOS CHEERLEADERS AND OTHER SPECIAL GUESTS

7:00 am – 8:00 am Yoga in the Park with TED BIA & Ritz-Carlton Toronto
Toronto Argonaut Players and Cheerleaders will be partaking in the downward dogs!
8:00 am – 9:00 am Pancake Breakfast served by local celebrities and sports figures, prepared by Ritz-Carlton Toronto
9:00 am – 11:30 am Pick-up Football and Clinics
Come play football with CFL Alumni, current and alumni CIS players and learn valuable football skills on the field while being cheered on by Argos Cheerleaders! 100th Grey Cup Festival swag to be given away!
11:30 am – 1:30pm Marc Angelo serves up sausages along with some celebrity friends
Have lunch in the park, listen to the DJ spinning tunes and watch the action take place!
12:00 pm – 12:30 pm Official Kick-off
Come see dignitaries along with Chris Rudge, CEO and Chairman of the 100th Grey Cup Festival and Executive Chairman of the Toronto Argonauts officially kick off the festival announcements with the kicking of a football! CFL Grey Cup Champion alumni to be present.
1:00 pm – 3:00pm Pickup Football and Clinics
Let the fun continue with CIS players, Alumni, Toronto Argonauts players, all while being cheered on by the Argos Cheerleaders.
