TORONTO – The Toronto Argonauts Football Club announced today that import DL Adrian Awasom and import WR Tyler Beiler have both signed contracts with the club.
Awasom began his career in 2005 when he signed with the New York Giants and spent three years there, earning a SuperBowl championship in 2007. He later signed with the Las Vegas Locomotives of the United Football League where he won two UFL championships. Awasom spent 2011 training camp with the Minnesota Vikings.
Tyler Beiler played college football at Bridgewater College in Virginia. He attended both San Francisco 49ers and Pittsburgh Steelers training camps in 2011 and 2012 respectively. While at Bridgewater, he was named the Virginia State Player of the Year after recording 17 touchdowns and more than 1,300 receiving yards.
