Toronto Argonauts Kickoff 1983 Celebrations On Wednesday Night!

TORONTO- Argos fans and media are invited to celebrate a Double Blue night of champions on Wednesday, August 21 at Real Sports Apparel in downtown Toronto. In preparation for the team’s Friday night home game against the Calgary Stampeders, where the 1983 Grey Cup championship team will be honoured, two members of the ’83 club will join two members of the 100th Grey Cup champion Toronto Argonauts for an evening not to be missed.

From 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday evening, 1983 Grey Cup champions Jan Carinci and Dan Ferrone along with 100th Grey Cup champions Andre Durie and Jeff Keeping will be in attendancefor an exclusive Q&A and autograph session inside Real Sports Apparel. The event will be hosted by the in-stadium voice of Argos football for the 2013 season, Don Landry. 

Fans and media will be able to watch the event in person at store front, or on the massive LCD screen outside of the Air Canada Centre! After the Q&A portion is complete, fans will require a special wristband in order to gain access to the autograph session with the players.

On Wednesday only, with the purchase of any limited edition 1983 merchandise, fans will receive two (2) tickets to the 100th Grey Cup rematch game on Friday, August 23 against the Calgary Stampeders. On game day, the 1983 celebrations will begin early at the Frank’s Red Hot Pre-Game Tailgate Party outside Gate 11 at 5:30 p.m. followed by a special pre-game autograph session inside Windows at 6:00 p.m. The team will then be together one final time on the field for an exciting halftime ceremony!
