A successful singer/songwriter, who has also been an actress, model, and television host, Beverley Mahood is a dynamic entertainer. She returned to her music in May of this year with her first single in four years, “Hope and Gasoline”. Beverly is also a dedicated supporter and spokesperson for the Pink Mitten Campaign in support of breast cancer research.
A legend in Canadian hip hop, Juno award winner and international hip hop star Maestro Fresh Wes will perform his smash hit single “Let Your Backbone Slide” live on the field during halftime. In 1989, he became the first Canadian rapper to have a Top 40 hit and continues to produce chart topping music with his most recent album, “Orchestrated Noise”.
On October 24, the Argonauts will be battling a foe on the field as well as off the field as they take up the fight to end women’s cancer in their annual CFL Pink game. The game is in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and a portion of tickets purchased via argonauts.ca/groups, using the promo code ARGOSPink, will be donated back to the CBCF.
