TORONTO – The Toronto Argonauts Football Club is pleased to announce that it has extended the contract of international QB Trevor Harris through the 2015 season.
Commented Argonauts General Manager Jim Barker, “Trevor has been a competitor since he joined our club prior to the 2012 season, and we have been very happy with his
development as a professional. We are glad he will remain with our team into the future.”
Harris has dressed in 37 regular season games with the club, and seen action in 6. He has also dressed in three playoff games and a Grey Cup game. Over two seasons, he has completed 17-of -35 passes for 256 yards and one (1) touchdown. His best game statistically as an Argonaut was in the 2013 regular season finale when he completed 6-of-9 passes for 110 yards and a touchdown in a home loss to Montreal. Harris was signed as a free agent in March of 2012.

The Waldo, Ohio native attended Edinboro University where he spent four seasons between 2006 and 2009. In his time at Edinboro, he completed 66% of his passes for 11,899 yards and 100 touchdowns leaving with every school single game, season and career passing record in attempts, completions and yards. During his final year of college, Harris was named MVP of NCAA Division II football and threw for an NCAA Division II single game record 630 yards during his final game. Following college, Harris spent time with the Jacksonville Jaguars (NFL), Arizona Rattlers (AFL), Sacramento Mountain Lions (UFL) and Orlando Predators (AFL).
The Toronto Argonauts will play their 2014 Home Opener on Saturday, July 5 at 3:00 p.m. ET when they welcome last year’s Grey Cup champions, Saskatchewan Roughriders, to Rogers Centre.
