TORONTO – The Toronto Argonauts have acquired international DB Alex Suber from the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in exchange for international DL Thaddeus Gibson.

A veteran of 65 regular season CFL games over five years, Suber has recorded 226 defensive tackles, 28 special teams tackles, three interceptions, six fumble recoveries and 15 tackles for a loss. A product of Middle Tennessee State, he joined the Blue Bombers as a free agent in June 2010 and dressed in the club’s 2011 Grey Cup appearance.
