TORONTO – The Toronto Argonauts Football Club is excited to announce that LB Shea Emry has been named CFL Canadian Player of the Week for his performance during CFL week 13 in B.C.

For the sixth time in his career, fifth time for this award, Emry has been awarded player of the week honours. He is coming off a game in B.C. that included his first quarterback sack as a member of the Argonauts, and his six (6) defensive tackles against the Lions tied his season high for 2014.
The Boatmen finally return to Rogers Centre on Saturday, October 4 at 4:00 p.m. against the Edmonton Eskimos, which will be the first game of a four week home-stand. The Argos will then host East Division rivals Hamilton Tiger-Cats (twice) and Montreal Alouettes during the final three weeks of October. With three teams tied atop the East Division, the upcoming stretch run is sure to provide exciting football action all month long!
