TORONTO – The Toronto Argonauts Football Club would like to congratulate K/P Swayze Waters who has been named CFL Special Teams Player of the Week for the second time in 2014, this time for his performance during Week 20 against Ottawa.

In Week 20, Swayze helped contribute to the Argonauts’ 23-5 win over the REDBLACKS by connecting on three (3) field goals (a long of 45-yards) and converting his two extra point attempts for a total of 11 kicking points which helped him finish with the most points scored in the CFL this season (184). In addition, Waters blasted nine (9) total punts for 428 yards and an average of 47.6. Waters finished the year tops in punting average as well with 48 yards per punt.
Waters previously earned CFL Special Teams Player of the Week during Week 15 against Edmonton and in Week 19 of 2012. Waters was also awarded Special Teams Player of the Month for July earlier this season (2014) and is the Toronto Argonauts’ nominee for Most Outstanding Special Teams Player.
